Hi everybody. I hope you all had a restful Christmas break. It's lovely to see that Spring has started to arrive. I hope you are managing to enjoy the better weather and slightly longer days.
Im very excited to bring some new weekday classes to improve the choice for you. New to our line up is an ongoing beginners class on Thursday which can be joined at any time and we have restarted a general level class, also on Thursday evening. We will also be starting an early morning class on Tuesday's from 7am.
To celebrate the bright spring mornings, all morning classes in Feb have been reduced by 20% so its a great time to try out a class before your day starts. 
Morning class are on Mon at 10:15-11:30
Tuesday at 07:00-7:45
Thursday at 09:00- 10:00
All are general level and are suitable for everyone. Thursday is particularly suited to those who prefer a more gentle class.
Looking forward to seeing you all on Zoom soon.

February 2022 at iYoga Online

As we approach the end of the year I just want to thank you all, students and teachers, for your continuous support. Just like 2020, it has been a difficult year. There was a lot of uncertainty when perhaps we felt things would have settled down. 
For me personally, having the consistency that yoga brings to my otherwise chaotic days has been really helpful. I hope it has brought some stability to your days and of course has added to your daily practice.
So as a new year on Zoom approaches, I look forward to seeing you all again, virtually. I hope to add some new classes to increase choice across the week, so keep an eye on the website and here on Luma. 
Enjoy the break, stay safe and keep up the practice 😀

We are delighted to welcome back Senior teacher Eileen Cameron this  Sat Oct 23rd , when she will teach an intermediate level workshop. Students will need to have 2+ years experience to join in this workshop.  This is a highly recommended class, so book early to avoid disappointment :)

Intermediate Workshops with Eileen Cameron

Hi there, 
Hope you all had a lovely summer, and managed to relax in the few weeks of sunshine we had.
I want to let you know about a few changes to some of the weekly classes which will take place over the next week or two.
Firstly our most recent intro to yoga class is coming to an end on September 6th and we will start a new 5 week course on Thursday September 16th at 6:30 - 7:30. This class is suitable for complete beginners or those who are returning to yoga after a break. For the time being, this will be the only evening class on Thursday.
Margaret will be moving days to Monday starting on Mon September 13th at 6:30 - 7:45. This will be a general level class.
All of our other classes will continue as before, and we have a great line up for our weekend classes from now until Dec. 
We are hoping to run another peer session for teachers and trainee's so keep an eye on our website and Facebook page for details.

Autumn 2021 at iYoga

It's great to see the sunshine at last, hope you are all managing to get outside to enjoy it. We have had a busy few months, it's been great to see so many of you on Zoom, and that you are all still keeping up with your practice :) 
You may remember back in May, Mel very generously agreed to hold a charity class with all money raised to be donated to an Indian charity to help with the covid crisis. We raised €80 which has been donated to the Belur Trust, so thank you all for your donations. 
Read on for details of classes over the summer months.
Weekly classes will continue as normal, there may be a few teacher swap's as we all try to have some time off, but you can be assured you will be in good hands :) The morning classes will also continue with Elena on Monday's at 10:15 and Yoga Gently with Melanie on Thursday's at 9:00
We will be starting another beginners course on Mon August 9th for 5 weeks. Advanced booking is essential for this course, so please spread the word to your family and friends. We are taking bookings now, and places are limited so book early to avoid disappointment. If you have any questions about this course you can email me at info@iyoga.ie
We will have our usual weekend classes with a great line up of guest teachers. These classes are open to everybody, even those who are relatively new. Its a great way to start off your weekend, so if you haven't joined one yet, now is a good time to start.

 This session will focus on the level 1 syllabus, including the new poses, and is suitable for trainees and prospective trainees, level 1 teachers and mentors or those interested in mentoring.

On Thursday May 13th, Melanie Taylor has very kindly offered to teach her regular Thursday morning class, free of charge to raise money for charity. For each attendee, iyoga will donate the normal class fee, plus any donations that you would like to make, to the Bellur trust. This is a long established charity that helps to improve the lives of people living in the Bellur region of India, which is the birthplace of Mr. Iyengar. 
During the recent pandemic crises they have been concentrating on delivering food and supplies to those in need. Information about this charity can be found here:

Free Yoga Gently Class 

Happy Easter to you all. I hope you are enjoying the lovely sunshine we are having.
I am delighted to be able to tell you that we have a new class starting on Thursday April 8th at 9:00am with Melanie Taylor.
This will be a yoga gently class and is suitable for all ages and abilities but will be especially suited to those who prefer a slower paced class.
Mel is a long standing teacher with us, and has previously taught our very popular yoga gently class in the studio in Phibsboro. Mel currently holds a senior level teaching certification and has a vast range of knowledge of experience. This class is highly recommended.
I hope you are finding the new website and booking system is easy to use, but it is still early days, so please do let me know of any issues that arise.
