​About Nikita

​Nikita Vala is Analytics Lead at Kandua - a proudly South African services marketplace start-up that was recently acquired by Santam. Before Kandua, Nikita spent her days as a Senior Product Analyst in the Data team at Yoco. She holds a BSc. in Chemical Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand and an MSc. in Big Data & Digital Futures from the Centre for Interdisciplinary Methodologies at the University of Warwick in England. In 2022, Nikita became a TechWomen Fellow after 5 weeks of immersive programming in Silicon Valley with women from 22 countries.
