Seminar: Discussing Veri.me - Identifier for researchers that goes beyond the traditional OrcID Identifiers
https://verimyid.com/home
VeriMe provides researchers a secure digital identity that enables verified access without exposing personal data.
• VeriMe is a global digital identity and personhood verification service for researchers.
• VeriMe can be directly integrated into existing systems for access to research data and resources, increasing integrity and trust in digital scholarship and research.
• VeriMe eliminates the need for research systems, universities, and governments to collect and store sensitive personal information (PII) while also providing assurance that system access is limited to identity-verified users.
• Researchers manage the sharing of their verified digital identity, can earn vouchers for their research service activity to exchange for access to research products and services, and may take a role in VeriMe governance.
