Burn Unit Prep Work Party in Lyle!

​​Join the Mt. Adams Prescribed Burn Association for a burn unit prep party at a landowner's property in Lyle! We'll dig fire line, protect oak trees, and remove limbs/downed wood as needed. We will also spend some time talking about the burn planning process at these sites. This event is open to all and is family friendly. You can participate in whatever manner you’re able (even if that just means hanging out & enjoying the beautiful oak woodland).

• ​​We'll send you an email with parking and other day-of instructions.

• ​We will provide some snacks & beverages. Please bring your own lunch and plenty of water.

• ​​We'll be working from around 10am to 3pm; feel free to join for some or all of that time.

• ​​Dress for the weather, and bring gloves, sturdy boots, and a hard hat if you have one.
