The Italian Job - Meet 9 leading Italian Seed Stage Start-Ups.
Notwics has long been supporters of International Start-Up cohorts, since our time at Bloomberg and with my Italian ancestry, I am particularly proud to be supporting this latest chapter of leading Italian founders who have been selected and accelerated by the ICE programme, run by the the Italian Trade Agency.
Notably this event also coincides with a upswing in the fortunes of the Italian Early Stage Technology scene in 2023. Several Italian founders are now re-investing in the homeland, like Riccardo Zacconi who cofounded King.com (sold to Activision for $5.9bn in 2017).
On the investment side, Italian Insurer, Generali recently announced that have launched a €250m fund of funds — and has already backed Speedinvest, Dawn Capital and Mundi Ventures. It's also got its eyes on investing directly into startups and will also be attending the event.
