Medieval Astrology: The Return of Lord Saturn

​Every 29.5 years or so, the misunderstood planet revisits the exact position recorded at the time of our births. Without proper context, this transit is often perceived as a point of terror, or disorder. In reverence of his structure principle, students shall design their own Nativity; then, compare with the passage of their own Saturn.

​The Astrologer is a translator for the Language of the Stars. Historically, a divinatory study, these techniques allow the practioner an investigative comprehension of the Natal placements. This workshop serves as both a primer into the true astrology, and as a tool for artists to apply their aptitude in a new context.
