As Africa Day Weekend unfolds in NYC, AfroFuture invites the community to gather around the table for A Taste of Home—a soulful, sensory celebration of heritage through food, music, and storytelling.
Taking place just after the Africa Center’s Africa Day Marketplace, this experience at Accra Restaurant is the unofficial after-vibe: an intimate wind-down designed to continue the connection. Guests will enjoy a curated West African tasting menu, Afro-diasporic DJ sets, and intentional conversation with Harlem’s neighborhood heros.
It’s a moment to honor ancestral flavor, support local culture, and nourish community—all in celebration of Africa Day.
