​Join us for the final session of our open Impact Seminar, where we explored and discussed the basics of effective altruism, to tie everything together and ponder your possible next steps - if you are at least somewhat convinced by EA’s general thrust.

​Would you like to start donating to effective charities? Dedicate your career to actually ensuring AGI is developed to benefit all of humanity (and other sentient beings)? Or simply continue the discussion and keep meeting fellow travelers on the journey to making the world a better place?

​Preparation:

​Reflect on whether and how you want to apply EA principles in your life for at least one hour

​Use this time to identify and note down key uncertainties. These could be about cause prioritization and personal fit, or specific next steps for tackling particular problems in the world. They can involve questions about which studies to pursue, or extracurricular activities that prepare you well for future impact. If you have specific project ideas you would like to discuss this is also very welcome!

• ​Where do you see yourself in two years? And in five? 

• ​What do you need to get there?

• ​What is the world going to be like then? What is it going to need?

​Please make sure you feel comfortable discussing these questions with a small group of relative strangers
