CGI Student Town Hall - Listening to Students; Amplifying Their Voices
Higher education is once again at the forefront of civil liberties and societal transformation as campuses across the world become sites of protest, debate, and innovation. Meanwhile, this generation is coming of age during a period of profound disruption, and today's college students are confronting complex global realities from accelerating climate change and widespread conflict to economic uncertainty while preparing to enter a workforce reshaped by artificial intelligence, automation, and emerging technologies.
According to the World Economic Forum, today's youth are navigating a global landscape marked by the highest number of displaced people since World War II, while UNEP data shows they will inherit the most climate-impacted planet in history.
Simultaneously, AI is fundamentally transforming the labor market. The McKinsey Global Institute estimates that up to 30% of the hours worked globally could be automated by 2030, disproportionately affecting new graduates and early-career workers. This raises pressing questions about how we prepare and support young leaders experiencing massive global transition.
We are at a critical inflection point. We want to hear from YOU.
How are you — students and recent graduates — navigating this moment? What are your hopes, concerns, and questions about the future? And what do you need from institutions, leaders, and communities to feel empowered as agents of change and architects of your future?
Share your voice. Let’s shape the future together.
