Vikrum Aiyer is the Head of Climate Policy at Heirloom, leading efforts to scale carbon removal through policy and public-private collaboration. Previously, he served as a senior advisor in the Obama White House, shaping policies on economic growth and innovation. Vikrum was also the Chief of Staff of the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office, where he advanced technology and sustainability initiatives. A recognized voice in climate policy, he works at the intersection of government, technology, and environmental impact to drive meaningful change.
Phil Ting is a California State Assemblymember Emeritus and a leading voice in climate policy, economic equity, and sustainable infrastructure. During his tenure in the Assembly, he championed clean energy initiatives, housing reform, and public transit investments, playing a key role in shaping California’s progressive climate policies. As former Chair of the Assembly Budget Committee, he helped direct funding toward climate resilience, renewable energy, and decarbonization efforts. Phil continues to advocate for policies that drive sustainability, innovation, and equitable economic growth in California and beyond.
