About Event

🤙 About Event
We live in a fast-paced, rapidly changing world that demands extra care — both for ourselves and the planet. Now more than ever, how we nourish ourselves daily is essential for a lifetime of resilience, balance, and well-being.

In this immersive 90-minute workshop with Ayurvedic Practitioner Sheila Govindarajan, embark on an exploration of the senses – where touch, taste, sight, sound, and scent become your guide back to equilibrium.

Set in a garden space, this sensorial journey will help you slow down, reconnect, and build sustainable self-care practices so you can show up for yourself, your community, and the planet from a place of deep harmony, and engagement with the five senses:

  • A ritual of listening, where sound dissolves stress, allowing you to hear the quiet wisdom of the natural world.

  • A ritual of touch, as warm, herb-infused oils seep into your skin, anchoring you in the present.

  • A ritual of sight, where colors shift, light dances, and you begin to truly see.

  • A ritual of taste, through a carefully crafted, Ayurvedic adaptogenic tea, blended to restore and revive.

  • A ritual of scent, awakening memory, intuition, and a sense of place.

Plus, enjoy a complimentary carefully crafted Ayurvedic adaptogenic tea to enhance your experience.

NOTE: Please wear layers, loose clothes, and bring your own mug for Ayurvedic tonic.

Sheila Govindarajan is a licensed Clinical Ayurvedic Practitioner, Ayurvedic Doula, Medicinal Aromatherapist, sound artist, and advisor with over 15 years of experience in holistic healing. Coming from a lineage that's steeped with Ayurvedic principles, Ayurveda has been woven into her life since childhood. Her journey deepened after witnessing the failures of the Western medical system in treating a loved one, igniting her calling to share the profound healing power of Ayurveda with the world.

Sheila trained at the Kerala Ayurveda Academy in Los Angeles and India, the Ayurveda Polarity Yoga Therapy Institute with Amadea Morningstar, and completed her Ayurvedic medical residency and Yoga Therapy training at Kerala Ayurveda Hospital in India. She also guides people in somatic, sensorial journeys to harmonize, balance, and connect with the 5 elements. Her work has helped patients facing cancer, organ transplants, HIV, severe mental health challenges, and postpartum recovery. She has also served as an advisor with Kaiser Permanente’s Integrative Medical School, bridging Eastern and Western healing modalities.

Driven by a vision to bring Ayurveda to a global audience, Sheila founded Rasa Veda, offering potent Ayurvedic treatments and high-quality herbal products. Through her work, she continues to honor and expand the ancient traditions of Ayurveda, making this sacred wisdom accessible to all.
