Breaking into New York: A Webinar with the NYC EDC
Is New York City a target market for your startup? Keen on concrete opportunities to scale your product there?
Join us for a virtual information session with the city's largest landlord, The NYC Economic Development Corporation, where they share insights into tangible opportunities for Norwegian companies to scale in the Big Apple.
About The EDC: The New York City Economic Development Corporation (EDC) is the official economic development arm for the city of New York. With a 6 million square meter real estate portfolio, EDC is NYC’s largest commercial landlord and is leveraging its assets to support international businesses with their NYC goals. Their business development team can work 1:1 with companies and help them navigate the 70+ tax incentives and credits to help them hit the ground running when landing in NYC.
In addition, EDC grows NYC’s Innovation Industries – tech, the green economy, and life sciences – and funds several incubators and builds innovation spaces across the city. For instance, EDC will release its AI strategy at the end of the month and hosts the AI Summit annually, offers piloting opportunities for clean tech companies at the Brooklyn Army Terminal (Pilots at BAT), and implements a two million square feet Science Park and Research Campus (SPARC) in Manhattan.
The webinar will cover EDC’s business development programs and offer a deep dive into how Norwegian companies can benefit from EDC’s programs in our Innovation Industries.
