✨ product qties ✨ Community AMA: Impostor Syndrome with Phyllis Njoroge
Impostor syndrome has many names, but we've all felt it at one time or another, especially as LGBTQ+ folks working in product, tech, and beyond.
In this interactive community AMA, Phyllis Njoroge (she/they) will talk about her own experience with impostor syndrome and the research that led her to write a book about it, and answer any questions you might have.
Ask your questions live during the AMA or here beforehand: https://app.sli.do/event/63NomNWa5LAECxAbP125Ny
Our Speaker
Phyllis Njoroge (she/they) has a Bachelor of Science in cognitive and brain sciences earned from Tufts University, as well as a Women's Entrepreneurship certificate from Cornell University. As a growth product manager, she has experienced impostor syndrome, conferred with colleagues, and mentored employees that have battled against it. Njoroge realized that there was a recurring problem, but no solutions near at hand, and decided to do something about it.
The seemingly never-ending war against impostor syndrome stems from both internal and external sources and Njoroge shares her well-researched views on the subject in her book From Fraud to Freedom.
