Berlin Rooftop: Investing in What Matters.
An evening with Ordinary Capital Collective, Vanagon Ventures & Acker e.V.
For (future) investors seeking accessible entry into venture capital – to fund what truly matters.
Venture capital has long been exclusive - gated by networks, jargon, and high capital requirements. But that’s starting to change.
New syndicate models, smarter regulation, and tech-enabled platforms are making VC more accessible. With that access comes something more powerful: The ability to change who gets to invest, and what gets built.
This is bigger than finance and return on investments — it’s about who gets to shape the future and return in impact.
We’re excited to invite you to a special evening in Berlin on July 15th – with a panel discussion, drinks, and conversations about venture capital, impact investing, and how capital, collective action, and mission-driven founders can shape a resilient, livable future.

About Vanagon
Europe is under pressure. Our supply chains are strained, our digital infrastructure outdated, slow and vulnerable, our natural buffers degraded. But this isn’t just a crisis. It's the largest rebuilding mandate in generations.
Vanagon Ventures is a (pre-)seed fund seizing the early-stage investment opportunity for Digital DeepTech companies in the DACH region. We target Europe’s €3T Digital DeepTech opportunity by backing top tech and industry experts who are driving European technological sovereignty with the most powerful digital tools available. Our mission is to radically transform Europe's key GDP sectors and resilience drivers: Rebuild Industries, Restore Nature, and Rewire Digital Infrastructures.
We are the earliest investors in mission-driven founders and help them reach the inflection point of scale faster - before everyone else sees their breakout moment. Over the past 2 years Vanagon has built the most influential deal pipeline for mission-driven DeepTech founders with a dedicated Founder Track and Expert Platform. Vanagon is anchored by Allocator.one, a Fund of Funds that invests in the top 3% of emerging managers.
About OCC | Ordinary Capital Collective
Private capital is essential for Germany’s startup ecosystem. Yet it’s too hard and too expensive to back future-shaping founders in a structured, diversified way. Even worse, female investors contribute less than 2% of VC capital globally (Pitchbook, 2023)—at a time when all voices are needed to shape the future.
Ordinary Capital Collective exists to change that. We make VC fund investing accessible, structured, and collective—so more people can invest in what truly matters.
It started with a simple but daunting question: How do you take your first step as an angel investor? A fund seemed like the best way—diversification, structure, guidance. But it wasn’t that simple: high minimum tickets, regulatory hurdles, “professional investor” barriers. WTF.
Pooling became the answer. What began as a personal wish turned into a collective, a first investment, and a mission to democratize this asset class.
It was a rollercoaster. But we launched, we invested, and the next opportunity is coming. Who knows what’s next.
About Acker e.V.
Acker is a leading non-profit organization cultivating systemic change through hands-on educational programs.
We enable over 1800 schools and kindergartens across Germany, Austria and Switzerland to grow their own vegetables, helping more than 300.000 children to reconnect with nature and natural food systems.
Our big vision: a paradigm shift in the German education system so that every child can experience sustainability in nature and with their own hands.
But impact at scale requires more than bureaucratic non-profit funding structures. That’s why we channel philanthropic capital - inspired by the boldness of venture capital - into systemic levers like digital infrastructure, teacher education and policy work.
Through the System Change Alliance, we collaborate with funders who see capital not just as a transaction, but as a catalyst for deep, structural change — and who view impact not only as a metric, but as a mission.
