About Event

Public services are crumbling, civil servants are over-stretched... and there's no money to do anything about it. But there is one glimmer of hope: Could AI be the miracle cure the public sector needs?

In this conversation there's going to be something for everyone: If you're an AI sceptic, come along and discover why there's genuine cause for optimism. And if you're an AI enthusiast, prepare to learn why it might be a little trickier than opening ChatGPT and typing "Fix the government".

So join James O'Malley and Alexander Iosad, Director of Government Innovation Policy at the Tony Blair Institute as they explore how AI is already revolutionising public services – and the transformative potential it holds for the future of government.
