Geoengineering & Climate Intervention: Unconference + Drinks
Should we already be doing SAI? What's the intervention technology that's least discussed relative to its potential? How might the geopolitics of planetary-scale intervention play out?
Come discuss the future of large-scale climate intervention technologies (inclusive of SRM, cryospheric stabilization, ocean-based interventions, gigaton-scale CDR, etc.).
What's an unconference? It's a format that allows people with specialized insight or transferable knowledge to have productive conversations based on the specific interests, background, and questions they show up with – no generic panels, no formal presentations. Chatham house rules apply.
4-4:30pm: Intros & unconference agenda creation
4:30-6pm: Multiple topic or question-specific breakout groups running in parallel
6pm onwards: Wrap-up, mingling & open discussion – conversation can shift to the bar downstairs to continue over bites and drinks.
Unconference participation is capped; registration & approval required.
