Bldr Ideas: Gathering 02 - "Magic"

​Welcome to the monthly Boulder gathering for immersive designers, experience artists and soloists/solo-performers!

​​Bldr Ideas is a meetup group formed for our artist communities in the Boulder County area (Denver folks welcome!) who are telling the stories of the human experience through their art.

Expect: Curated intentional meetups, locations/food/drinks with soul, thought-provoking questions, and opportunities to get to the heart of why we create—together.

​​Our theme for February's gathering: Magic. What role does magic and the unknown play in your work? How about the emergent and the unknown? Think: The Magician. Energetic potential and embodied resourcefulness. The meeting of physical and spiritual worlds. "As above, so below." Being a conduit to transmute creative energy into real-world action.

​​Invitations: Please bring either your favorite "The Magician" Major Arcana card for our mini table altar, or something else that symbolizes magic to you in your life or work. Come hungry for happy hour specials and drinks (N/A available), as we want to support our venues!

​​Why Acreage? While the food and drinks are great here, we admit that one of the main reasons we love it here is the spaciousness and stunning mountain views! Sunsets here can be quite epic. And, after some Denver folks generously drove quite far(ra) ;) last month to Lyons, we wanted to position this one right in the middle-ish of Boulder/Denver. Founded in 2013 by Eric Foster and Phil Kao, entrepreneurs with a deep appreciation for craft and a strong commitment to reviving the cider tradition, Acreage brings the urban cider house experience found in Stem’s RiNo taproom to the (literal) countryside.
