Spencer Kimber, Principal at Shannon Life Sciences Family Office
Spencer has over 12 years of experience in healthcare across Health IT, Pharmaceutical Services, MedTech, Biopharma, and related sectors. He has led or supported more than 45 transactions, including M&A, venture capital, real estate, and fund investments, in both investor and advisory capacities.
Spencer is an investor at Shannon Life Sciences, where he leads U.S. investment efforts across multiple asset classes, primarily focusing on biotech. He advises on the firm’s investment strategy, including portfolio construction and capital allocation. Lead sourcing, due diligence, negotiation, execution, and exits of direct investments, with a primary focus on U.S. biopharma, particularly neuroscience.
He holds an MBA from Cornell University, an MS in Regulatory Science from Johns Hopkins University, and a BA in Economics and Chemistry from UNC Wilmington. Outside of work, he is a Renzo Gracie black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu instructor and enjoys reading widely across non-fiction topics.

Wesley is an early-stage investor and expert around human performance, neuro technology, and health and wellness. Wesley is a licensed investment banker holding the Series 7, 79, and 63 licenses.
Wesley is an award-winning innovation ecosystem designer, having developed 5 novel internal technologies as an Innovation Architect at Cisco Systems.
Wesley has built co-investor and private equity investor databases for several investment banks, family offices, and VC firms, giving him a unique perspective on the international early-stage investment market.
Wesley ran the largest and most active health optimization meetup in the world during his time in Los Angeles.
Wesley holds a BBA from University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business, and was accepted on full academic scholarship to the honors college at the University of Michigan. He also holds a data science certification from the University of Washington.
Patricia Silverstein, Founder and President of the Silverstein Dream Foundation
Silverstein Dream Foundation is a nonprofit dedicated to funding cutting-edge medical research for the Diabetes Research Institute and promoting early detection programs for prediabetes, type 1, and type 2 diabetes.
Patricia is passionate about holistic approaches, incorporating nutrition, diet management, and meditation techniques to improve glucose levels and insulin resistance. Her efforts have earned her prestigious awards and recognitions, including:
First female honoree at the Empire Ball Gala (2022), hosted by the Diabetes Research Institute Foundation, where she received the Leadership Award.
The Leadership and Visionary Health Award from the Dominican Women Development Center (DWDC) for her Diabetes Prevention Program, aimed at reducing diabetes rates in underrepresented communities. Patricia also serves on the Board of The Cure Alliance, a nonprofit that funds emergency treatments for pancreatic cancer and diabetes-related complications.
Her mission is clear: to find a cure for diabetes and empower individuals to overcome health challenges by leveraging all available resources.
