Deep Dive: Navigating U.S. Food Tech Regulations: FDA + USDA

​This Regulatory Workshop will demystify key aspects of FDA and USDA regulation applicable to food tech innovations, including precision fermentation, cultivated meat and molecular farming.

​Importantly, we will consider how the Trump administration’s “Make America Healthy Again” (MAHA) movement is coloring novel food technology reviews and approvals in the U.S. from a safety and labeling perspective. We will also examine potential changes to self-GRAS stemming from a recent Trump administration directive and practical implications for emerging food tech startups.  

​This workshop will additionally address anticipated regulatory updates at FDA + USDA and best practices when interfacing with regulators.
