About Our Speakers:
Shilpa Patel is part of Kindbody’s founding team where she serves as Chief Business and Legal Officer. Kindbody is a leading fertility clinic network and global family-building benefits provider for employers offering the full-spectrum of reproductive care from preconception to postpartum through menopause. Shilpa is a passionate advocate for eliminating disparities in women’s health and ensuring equal access to high-quality reproductive care. With a unique background of working with health systems and hospitals, serving in-house at a health plan, and subsequently health tech, Shilpa has a demonstrated track record of launching innovative products and delivering strategic outcomes. She previously worked at Quartet Health and Oscar Insurance Corporation. Prior to going in-house, she worked in the healthcare practices of Foley & Lardner, LLP, and Garfunkel Wild, PC. She received her BA from Tufts University and her JD from Brooklyn Law School.
Meenakshi Lala is a highly accomplished executive with over two decades of experience in the retail and e-commerce space. Currently serving as CEO of UrbanStems, she drives the company's growth and operational efficiency with precision and expertise.
Previously, as COO at Solid & Striped and ID Brands LLC, she demonstrated exceptional leadership in operational efficiency and growth. With a background including VP roles at Global Brands Group and Elie Tahari, she brings a wealth of expertise in supply chain management and product development.
Her journey began with key roles at Alice + Olivia, Koral Inc, and Jonathan Logan, where she developed a solid foundation in production management and logistics. Throughout her career, she has been a driving force for innovation and excellence.
Zara Mirza is a visionary marketing leader, with a proven track record of transforming the way brands go to market and building high performing, diverse global teams.
Currently Chief Brand Officer at TIAA, leading brand strategy, brand marketing, creative and corporate social responsibility teams for TIAA and Nuveen.
Previously Chief Brand Officer at GE, helping to accelerate the transformation of the business and positioning the three investment grade companies ahead of much anticipated spin offs. She was also Global Head of Creative Excellence at Bacardi, responsible for returning the business to growth by recruiting the next generation of consumers across the portfolio of premium spirits brands.
She has diverse industry experience across technology, media, personal care, premium spirits & healthcare, through senior leadership positions at Bartle, Bogle Hegarty.
