Join us for a Her Career Story - Female Founder & Investor Panel Event featuring Marilynn Joyner - Founder & CEO of Her Workplace, Kait Stephens - CEO & Co-Founder of Brij, Adrianna Samaniego - Partner at Female Founders Fund, and Kat Garcia - Founder & Co-CEO of Ground.

This is your opportunity to hear the career stories of the panelists and ask any questions you may have about being a founder and/or investor in the environment we're in today.

We will also allow time for networking before and after the panel. We look forward to meeting you IRL! 🤝

Kait Stephens is the CEO & Co-founder of Brij, a software platform that helps brands connect the offline and online. Brij is working with hundreds of top omnichannel brands including Feastables, Canopy, Health-Ade, Maude & Calpak. Kait has over 12 years of experience in retail and commerce. In previous roles, she was an investor in omnichannel and the future of retail. She is the host of the Omnichannel Marketer, a podcast that explores how brands provide a seamless customer experience across channels. Kait is also an angel investor in consumer products and female-founded businesses. She has an MBA from Harvard Business School and BSBA from Georgetown University.

Adrianna Samaniego is Partner at Female Founders Fund, an early-stage fund investing in female-founded technology companies across B2B, Consumer, Healthcare, Climate, and Fintech. In her role, she invests and supports portfolio companies who are building category-defining technology businesses. Prior to joining Female Founders Fund, while pursuing her MBA she worked at JetBlue Ventures, Harlem Capital Partners, & New Media Ventures. Adrianna spent eight years in tech, formerly as Co-founder & Co-CEO in Area 120 Google’s Startup Incubator. In this role, she led a team to rapidly build and launch Emporium, a B2B marketplace for Fortune 500 companies to procure from diverse-owned companies. Adrianna also formerly led and created Google's Global Supplier Diversity Program which created over $2B in opportunities for diverse-owned businesses. Adrianna’s excellence in the workplace and community has been recognized on many occasions, including Business Insider Rising Stars in VC, Kauffman Class 28, University of Georgia 40 Under 40, Alumni Society Class of 22, Hispanic Association of Corporate Responsibility Corporate Achiever Award, Technology Industry Group Top Innovator Award, and Top Latinas at Tech Giants. Adrianna Samaniego is a proud Mexican-American originally from the small border town of Douglas, Arizona. She holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BA from University of Georgia.

Kat Garcia is the co-founder & co-CEO of Ground - an AI powered platform designed as an extension of teams to help uncover untapped revenue opportunities hidden in companies' data. Kat has been a creator since 2006 and today, with a following of 50,000, she sheds light on her entrepreneurial journey while helping e-commerces, and consumer startups grow and scale. She previously invested, built, and scaled consumer startups alongside some of the world’s most influential companies at BCG Digital Ventures - the incubation arm of the Boston Consulting Group. Combining her experience as the interim Head of Growth for ventures and being on the founding teams of new incubations, she has innovated with consumer players like AMEX, Spin by OXXO, Luxxotica's DTCs, and many more. Prior to working in the world of business, she spent a decade working in the entertainment industry as an actress with films premiering in Cannes Film Festival, and independent recording artist where she was the opening act for Young Money. Kat holds a Bachelors of Commerce from McGill University.
