About Event
AI coding assistants like GitHub Copilot are transforming coding workflows and offering new ways to streamline development and learning. This seminar will provide a practical demonstration of how these tools can be used effectively, with a focus on using AI to enhance workflows in R and Python for data science. Attendees will gain hands-on insights into best practices, valuable features, and common pitfalls, as well as guidance on when these AI tools should — and should not — be used.
This seminar will be led by Dr. Rebecca Barter, a Research Assistant Professor at the University of Utah School of Medicine in the Division of Epidemiology. It is open to ALL University of Utah faculty, postdocs, grad students, and staff.
