About Event

Are you an aspiring founder in Berlin and feels overwhelmed with pursuing your self employed or startup idea? Employed.world wants to create a safe space for people affected by layoffs in Berlin and want to be able to pursue their ideas or self employment initiatives and have a support system which can offer know-how network and access.

Our fourth meetup is joined by:

1. Anna Steele

Anna is sharing "A story of Change and Resilience, What it takes to secure multiple startup grants from Berlin?"

Anna Steele, a founder of Applitracker with a diverse background in linguistics, international education, and operations. She has supported businesses across China, Malta, and the UK, bringing expertise in scaling teams and managing complex projects. Recently, Anna built a small international team and secured two prestigious grants—EXIST Women and the Berlin Startup Scholarship—to develop Applitracker. Inspired by her own challenges as a female career changer with a migrant background, she is dedicated to transforming the job search process and empowering job seekers worldwide.

2. Behrad Mirafshar

CEO @ Bonanza Studios

Behrad is sharing about "Creating UX agency in Berlin as international person. What it takes to get to 1 million revenue in 4 years."

Behrad is a serial entrepreneur passionate about building scalable and profitable ventures. Over the last 15 years, he has helped more than 100 startups grow. Five years ago, he embarked on a journey to turn his expertise into a business—Bonanza Studios. Since then, he’s been skying up and down the slope of S-curve growth, gathering invaluable insights. He’s excited to share an executive summary of his experiences.

3. Jesper Bylund

Freelancer & exHead of User Experience @ n8n

Currently Building Findinsight.AI, Jesper is sharing "Solving the Wrong Problem: The Silent Killer of Great Products, What it takes to not fall in trap of building for wrong user problems?"

Jesper Bylund, Design leadership and cutting edge product definition. Jesper has lead design across startups all over the western world for decades. Always guided by curiosity he's worked on some of the extreme edges of product design. He's currently focusing on AI as the future of user interfaces."
