About the Meetup
❤️ Meet fellow ADPeople at our 8th casual meetup in DC-Baltimore! Join us for a laidback afternoon full of spirited conversation, casual networking, and community building in the fresh air.
🍂 We'll be meeting at the Lincoln Memorial to take in the breathtaking fall landscape before it gets too frigid. Changing leaves and cool weather predicted in late October!
🦺 Got orange? If possible: wear orange, brown, black, or beige! This will make it easier for everyone to find our group.
🎨 For this meetup, we'll be unleashing our artistic creativity. We'll get in small groups and do the viral trend of trading drawings every 5 minutes (example from TikTok). Most art supplies will be provided by the host, but please feel free to bring your favorite markers and colored pencils from home!
🍿 This meetup is BYO provisions! This includes food, drinks, and any chairs/blankets that will make you feel more comfortable in the grass outside. Hot cocoa and a fall-themed snack highly recommended! Katherine (your host) will bring a snack and 2 blankets to share.
🚇 For transportation, we strongly recommend taking the metro as parking is dismal. The nearest metro stations are Foggy Bottom-GWU (23rd St & I St NW - 15 min walk) and Smithsonian (12th St & Independence Ave SW - 27 min walk).
🦆 All designers, researchers, product people, entrepreneurs, engineers, and tech friends are welcome to register. You don't have to be a member of ADPList to come see what we're all about.
