About Event

How I Raised My Series A is a gathering centered around open discussion regarding best practices for raising a Series A round. Every other month, we invite two or three founders who have successfully raised a round in the past few months and foster an open dialogue around what worked and what didn't.

This is an in-person event that will not be streamed, so we look forward to seeing you there.

Panelists:

Priyanka Jain is the co-founder & CEO of Evvy, where she is focused on closing the gender health data gap. Evvy is unlocking precision female healthcare through researching novel female biomarkers, starting with the vaginal microbiome. Before founding Evvy, Priyanka was Head of Product at pymetrics, a startup using behavioral science and AI to make talent matching more effective and fair. She is also a spokesperson for the United Nations Foundation's Girl Up Campaign and on the Innovation Board for the XPRIZE Foundation.

Alexander Reynolds is CEO and co-founder of Vendelux, the leading AI platform for events and conferences. Prior to founding Vedelux, Alex was VP and GM of Platform Solutions at Shutterstock and he worked on strategic partnerships with start-ups and public companies to generate new relationships with Apple, Google, Uber, and Microsoft. Earlier in his career he was a management consultant for Bain & Company, where he focused on pricing strategy and M&A. Alex earned his Bachelors of Business Administration from Emory University.

Dana Kim is the founder and CEO of Highlight, a Series A Product Intelligence platform. For years, Dana spent endless hours in malls, grocery stores, and focus group facilities as a field researcher tasked with collecting critical physical product feedback from target consumers on behalf of customers like Starbucks, Nike, and Coca Cola. She got her MBA at The Wharton School so she could build Highlight - the first and only end-to-end agile product testing platform, enabling the efficient collection of scaled product performance data. While Highlight launched in 2021, it’s seen runaway growth and scale, having tested thousands of products at a fraction of the time and cost of traditional analog methods, and becoming the dominant SAAS platform in the product testing space.
