How to break into Venture Capital | CEL <> Gateway by TVF
With a budding entrepreneurship culture in the country and a rising need for capital to fund innovative startups, we have seen the rise of many Venture Capital firms in India recently and many BITSians have gotten into some amazing firms. VC Firms, typically known to hire only MBA graduates about 2-3 years back, have now started hiring undergraduates like us, given their expertise in understanding tech and business. However, breaking into VC is difficult and we have seen a lot of peers with questions such as: “How to get a VC Internship?”, “What does a day in the life of VC Analysts look like?” and many more.
CEL brings to you “How to break into Venture Capital” with Gateway by TVF. We will be hosting Nishtha Sethi and Himansu Varghese who run “Gateway by TVF”, a community of students interested in breaking into Venture Capital. What started off as a newsletter has now turned into a community of 150 folks with resources, job postings and regular office hours.
We would be covering themes like “How to get into Venture Capital as a fresher?”, “How to get VC Internships?”, “What does a day in the life of a VC Analyst/Associate look like?”. If you would like us to cover any other topics, feel free to ask them in the Q&A section of the panel discussion or fill out the given form.
