Climate Circle Lisbon presents....Work on Climate (New Year edition). Welcome back after a small break in December!
We are a group of people that meet up once a month to learn, network and talk about all things climate. Join us at our next one in the Goethe Institute!
We have a slot for two speakers, a Q&A session on the subject in focus, as well as a discussion circle and networking session at the end. We have lined up the following (very exciting) speakers...
Speakers:
Dom Loomes - Co-Founder and Director of World Over Here, a radical new form of Community Media founded on the principles of Plurality, Equality and Environmental Justice. It is a space where we can question social norms, the constructs of power and the fundamental relationship we have with the world.
Marina Schmidt - Founder and Editor-In-Chief of Red to Green, an agrifood sustainability podcast, ranked in the top 5% of podcasts globally, working at the interchange of media and food sustainability. The past seven seasons covered the topics of cellular agriculture, plastic alternatives, consumer acceptance, food waste, and biotech in food, to name a few.
We are all working on or interested in different aspects of advancing solutions and justice in the face of climate change, and we believe bringing together people working on cross-cutting issues is important. So please feel welcome....there is lots of learning to be had.
