About Event

Tropical soft commodities - coffee, cocoa, rubber, timber, soy, shrimp, palm oil, etc. are not only the biggest drivers of emissions through deforestation, but also impact biodiversity and the planetary water cycle in a significant way.

These commodities also account for more than $1T in traded value across the globe. Decarbonizing tropical soft commodities is challenging, but possible. Deploying scalable monitoring and transparent environmental metrics are big drivers of value for producers - sustainable finance, buyer commitments, carbon removals, and lower insurance premiums are some of the ways producers are leveraging technology to create value from their environmental metrics.

This event brings together companies in the rubber, shrimp, coffee and cocoa space, along with their technology providers to show what is being done to decarbonize these supply chains.
