Interopolis
Interopolis is a community onsite for the Interop community to connect and complete things IRL.
No talks, no panels. Just pure collaboration. Think whiteboard sessions, fishbowl discussions and co-hacking.
Whiteboarding Sessions
Each session will last 5 hours and run by two facilitators.
Resource Locks
Facilitated by Stephane (OneBalance) and Bo (Polymer Labs)
Shared Bridges
Facilitated by Nam (Hyperlane) and Layne (Everclear)
Solver Economics
Facilitated by Greg (Sprinter) and Jim (LI.FI)
Crosschain Composability
Facilitated by Orest (t1protocol) and Ellie (Espresso Labs)
Goals
Workshop current problems/solutions in Interop.
Motivate researchers and builders to reach milestones together by the last day of the event, and present to the community during a community call.
A space where everyone has an equal voice to contribute.
Why Athens?
We want somewhere distraction free, away from any “____ week” so we can really focus on our goals
We want to support and help build grassroots communities in places that need it vs the same old locations
Athens is quite close to the ETH conferences circuit around Europe at that time.
Where better than the birthplace and hub of philosophy, democracy, and open discourse, this city felt like a natural fit for collaboration—the essential ingredient for solving interoperability challenges in our industry. Athens also has a history of anarchy and resistance to centralized control, offering a raw, real-world parallel to the challenges and ideals of our tech. Let’s not even mention the amazing weather, food and vibes (and freddo espressos).
