Yale Ventures Lunch & Learn: Jorge Torres | Demystifying Venture Capital

​Jorge is a Lecturer at Yale Engineering and an Entrepreneurship Fellow at Tsai CITY. Before joining Tsai CITY, he was the Dean of Pierson College from 2020-2022, serving as the principal academic and personal advisor to 500 Yale College students.

​Before working in higher education, Jorge served as an original investment team member at Silas Capital, a consumer-focused venture capital firm based in New York. He earned a B.S. in Molecular Biophysics & Biochemistry from Yale and a law degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
