Machine Cinema “GenDojo” Community Call - 5/21 10am PT
Hey everyone,
This Wednesday 10-11am PT is our weekly digital get together to connect on how we are all making our way through this new era for creative industries and AI among other emergent technologies, sharing ideas, tips, knowledge amongst ourselves.
Our group is an amazing mix of creators/producers/builders/some new to this stuff/ some OG/ all of us constantly learning.
You can join however you want - camera on, camera off. It's ok if you just want to listen, but it's more fun if you participate. We usually meet every two weeks.
This week we'll be joined by:
Lisa Russell, hailing from Kenya, she is deeply involved in the AI for Good and Impact space, working with the UN and UNESCO, specifically focusing on the role of AI Artists to get involved in these spaces. She'll tell us about her work with ArtsEnvoy.ai her platform dedicated to this intersection, as well as hear her invitation how other artists in our community can get involved.

Renard Jenkins, one of the coolest multi-hyphenates you could meet in the space. HPA President, past SMPTE Prez, technologist and President and CEO of I2A2 Studios and Labs. He was the Keynote speaker at last year's AI on the Lot, making everyone in the room a bit smarter about the intersection of AI and the Film biz. He's working on some new research that he'll share and we'll try our hand at some live polling to contribute!
