April ClimateTech Coffee
Time for another ClimateTech Coffee meetup!
This month we'll be joined by Kim Gilbert, founder of pHathom Technologies.
Kim Gilbert, PhD is a chemical engineer and geochemist. She was the founding member of Carbon to Sea (CtS), a non-profit focused on funding and supporting Ocean Alkalinity Enhancement R&D and has recently launched pHathom Technologies and is advancing a CO2 capture and neutralization process called Carbon Neutralization and Ocean Storage (CNOS). CNOS accelerates natural weathering of rocks to convert CO2 into bicarbonate, which can be stored in the ocean for hundreds of thousands of years as a safe and stable ion. pHathom intends to build a science and engineering team here in Austin to support development of the modular deployment system.

ABOUT CLIMATETECH COFFEE:
ClimateTech Coffee is an informal monthly meetup to learn and connect with people passionate about reversing climate change. We're biased toward connecting and we want to foster collaboration opportunities.
Austin is emerging as one of the nation's climate tech hubs, so come join us at Lazarus to keep up with the latest developments. Each month you can expect one or two short, deck-less lightning talks from a local business leader, policy expert, or researcher to share what they're working on and what they're excited about. A healthy dose of discussion will follow!
Whether you're just starting your climate journey or you've been working here your entire career, everyone is welcome.
