As part of the Startup Global 2024 program, Startup Canada will facilitate a Pitch Competition for early stage entrepreneurs looking to win cash to help with their exporting aspirations. We will host a pitch info session that will be open to anyone interested in the Pop-up Pitch or Virtual Pitch Competition. This session will walk through key details, the structure of the pitches, what to expect, how to prepare your pitch, and answer the most frequently asked questions.

WHO IS THIS SESSION FOR?
Early stage entrepreneurs who have applied to pitch at either the Startup Global Pop-up Pitch or Virtual Pitch Competition and want to learn more about the process and have questions.
ABOUT THE STARTUP GLOBAL 2024 PITCH COMPETITION.
There are two ways of pitching at the Startup Global 2024 Pitch Competition:
Pop-Up Pitch: The Startup Global Pitch Competition will be going on tour across Canada again in 2024! Entrepreneurs are invited to participate in the Startup Global Pop-up Pitch Competition in-person to win a cash prize of $3,000 per tour stop across 4 tour stops. Entrepreneurs that win at each of these stops will also win a guaranteed spot at the Grand Finale in Kitchener-Waterloo on October 30, 2024.
Virtual Pitch Competition: This will be a virtual version of the Pop-Up Pitches to accommodate entrepreneurs that aren’t able to pitch in-person. Entrepreneurs will pitch online to a panel of two judges in June. The judges will then select a Top 12 to pitch the following day, which will be livestreamed. The Top 6 will be selected to advance to the Grand Finale in Kitchener-Waterloo on October 30, 2024

To apply for Pop-up Pitch: Winnipeg, MB (April 18), Langley, BC (May 15), Moncton, NB (September 17), Kitchener-Waterloo, ON (October 29) - PLEASE NOTE: Pop-Up Pitch for Kitchener-Waterloo will happen the day before the Grand Finale on October 29.
