About JVA (Main organiser)
Japan’s Venture Academy (JVA) is a student-run initiative sponsored by Shibuya City offering university students opportunities to build entrepreneurial self-efficacy.
JVA offers a 3-month startup fellowship to ambitious university students in Tokyo to learn how to build innovative solutions with the help of experts working at startups including, Google, Figma, Coral Capital, and Incubate Fund.
About Diligent
UTokyo Diligent is a student association across nine fields: 1) entrepreneurship development and career education, 2) remote island conservation, 3) HPAIR attraction, 4) voluntary study groups, 5) internships, 6) seminars by industry, academia and government sectors, 7) UTokyo alumni community, 8) international exchange (ICCP) and 9) biotech venture. It was launched in 2023 and currently has more than 300 members.
About TedxWaseda
TEDxWasedaU, founded in 2011 by Waseda University students, aims to expand TED’s outlook by embracing cultural diversity and spreading ideas. As one of Japan’s largest student-organized TEDx communities, we strive to spread inspiring and innovative ideas.
About CourseVALU
CourseVALU is a startup that provides university students with class-style workshops and on-demand learning content based on the business activities, operations, and products of various companies. Its concept is to help students who are unsure about their future career path understand how their current studies can be beneficial. In today's world with many choices, CourseVALU aims to provide opportunities for students to learn by understanding what current professionals are doing. In November, they host a one-day open campus event where university facilities are rented out, allowing students to learn from a variety of companies, aiming to provide the most enticing service for students.
