About Event

Join us for our Her Development Wellness Seminar on Strength, Balance & Mental Health in Boston led by Jillian Barnes - Certified Personal Trainer and Behavior Change Specialist through ACE.

We’ll explore the unique benefits of strength training for women, without the intimidation, along with how to support your physical and mental well-being through all stages of your cycle.

From avoiding burnout to fueling your body with the right nutrition, Jillian will break down the fundamentals of training smarter, not harder. We’ll also highlight how regular movement can be a powerful tool to manage stress, anxiety, and boost your overall mental health. ✨

Whether you're new to working out or want to refine your routine, this session will equip you with the knowledge to build a sustainable, feel-good approach to fitness and self-care.

🎤 About Our Speaker

Jillian Barnes is a Certified Personal Trainer and Behavior Change Specialist through ACE and holds a Bachelors Degree in Nutrition from Simmons College in Boston, MA. She has completed education and holds certifications in Performance Nutrition, Prenatal/ Postnatal Fitness, Fitness during Pregnancy and Training Women For Optimal Strength and Performance.

During her early years of training, Jillian completed over 169 hours of education from the Equinox Fitness Training Institute before completing her 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training in Arizona. Her 8+ years of expertise led her to be voted Best Personal Trainer in Boston by Boston Common Magazine in 2022.
