About Mike Krieger
Mike Krieger is the Chief Product Officer at Anthropic, joining the executive team in May 2024. Mike co-founded Instagram and served as its CTO. At Instagram, he focused on building a broad range of products to help people connect with their interests and share their passions. As CTO, Mike grew the engineering organization to more than 450 employees across Instagram's offices in Menlo Park, San Francisco, and New York. Mike is a native of São Paulo, Brazil, Mike speaks fluent Portuguese. He holds an MS in Symbolic Systems from Stanford University and currently resides in San Francisco.
