More About the Speaker
Dr. Steven Edwards completed his PhD at Monash University, focusing on discrete optimization for automated pathology testing systems. He developed a modeling framework using constraint programming. Steven briefly worked at the Australian Bureau of Statistics on data security optimization before becoming a Research Fellow in Operations Research at the University of Melbourne. In Gurobi, he leads the team of Technical Account Managers in the Asia Pacific – Japan region, and works directly with customers within ANZ, SEA and Taiwan.
