​Sam Udotong is Co-founder and CTO at Fireflies.ai, an AI that joins your meetings to take notes automatically; it has been used by over 150,000 organizations. This quintessentially scrappy founder turned down Harvard Business School to build a startup while living below the poverty line. Today Udotong manages a team that operates out of 20 countries and raised $19 million in funding. He was featured on the cover of Entrepreneur magazine in 2020 and named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 in Enterprise Technology in 2021. He's a full-stack software engineer and frequent guest lecturer for Stanford's introductory AI classes. Since college, where he created and trained autonomous drones as president of MIT's UAV team, he gets excited about deploying deep learning in large projects. Sam grew up in New Jersey just outside of Philadelphia, and he studied computer science and aerospace engineering at MIT. Sam believes that AI will revolutionize how we work and learn and is committed to making AI more accessible and useful for professionals at work.
