What is the BNB Chain Hackathon?
This three-day, in-person event promises to be an exciting opportunity to explore the limitless possibilities of blockchain technology.
For this hackathon, we're thrilled to introduce you to opBNB and Greenfield, two cutting-edge blockchain platforms that offer endless possibilities for developers and entrepreneurs.

Top 3 projects overall:
First Prize $15,000
Second Prize $10,000
Third Prize $5,000
There will be an additional $70,00 prize pool for these categories:
Innovation: This category would reward teams for developing new and innovative ideas. This could include new ways to use blockchain technology, new ways to solve problems, or new ways to improve the user experience.
User experience: This category would reward teams for developing projects with a great user experience. This could include projects that are easy to use, intuitive, and enjoyable to use.
Technical excellence: This category would reward teams for developing projects with excellent technical execution. This could include projects that are well-coded, efficient, and secure.

This is an in-person event, to take part you will need to be in Istanbul during the dates of the Hackathon (10-12 Nov).
Rewards
We're offering up to $100k in rewards for your hard work and innovation:
• 1st Prize: $15k
• 2nd Prize: $10k
• 3rd Prize: $5k
Plus, up to 70k in additional rewards across a variety of categories!
The event organizer, in its sole discretion, may award an additional reward of up to $2,000 USD per project based on the quality of the project. Up to a maximum of $70,000 USD of additional rewards will be awarded.
Disclaimers
The maximum prize pool for this hackathon is $100,000 USD and consists of: $15,000 USD for first prize; $10,000 USD for second prize; $5,000 USD for third prize; and up to $70,000 in additional rewards.
Additional rewards will be awarded at the sole discretion of the event organizer based on the quality of the projects produced.
The BNB chain core team reserves the right to disqualify any participants who, in its reasonable opinion, are acting fraudulently or not in accordance with any applicable terms and conditions.
The BNB chain core team reserves the right to disqualify trades that are deemed to be wash trades or illegal bulk account registrations, as well as trades that display attributes of self-dealing or market manipulation.
The BNB chain core team reserves the right at any time in its sole and absolute discretion to determine and/or amend or vary these terms and conditions without prior notice, including but not limited to canceling, extending, terminating or suspending this promotion, the eligibility terms and criteria, the selection and number of winners, and the timing of any action to be taken. All participants shall be bound by these amendments.
Where any discrepancy arises between the translated versions and the original English version, the English version shall prevail.
