Create a Discord Bot w/ SouthHills

​Take a quick break from your Friday night gaming and learn how to create a Discord Bot with SouthHills!

​We will make this as hands-on as possible. Everyone that attends will:

• ​Create a bot that you can install on your Discord Server

• ​Setup an interactive coding development environment in repl.it and Visual Studio Code

• ​Learn some basic code / programming skills

• ​Learn how Discord and computer networks work

• ​Time permitting, we can talk ideas and connect the bots to an API, maybe even AI.

​​We'll also connect you with Major League Hacking (MLH) Global Hack Week: Games so you can dive into the world of game development as they stream different game engines, tools, and more all week long for Global Hack Week!

​We are going virtual again this time, so invite any of your friends that want to learn a bit about being creative with Discord with some prizes along the way.
