We will discuss the origins, history, and philosophy, as well dive into the science of it. There is a remarkable amount of new research supporting the various effects of mindfulness on one's life and even more fascinating the effects on the brain! Finally, we will dive into the best practices for your own life that you can implement right away. The science to support the benefits of mindfulness and meditation is increasing every year. Have you found yourself wondering about mindfulness and wanting to know what all the hype is? Whether you are a beginner and looking to learn how to develop your own practice or improve and support your already established practice there is something to gain from this workshop. We will look at neuroscience to support the benefits of meditation on the body and mind as well as implement various meditation practices for you to take home.
