Trauma 101 @ UC Health
Details:
Depending on your GPS, UC Health is also called UC Medical Center or University Hospital. This is the main hospital located in Clifton.
They strongly prefer students park at the Business Parking Garage, located at 3200 Burnett Avenue. A map is included on the shared drive. You will follow the blue line from the BC Garage to the main doors of the hospital.
They will not validate parking in other garages, but you may choose to park in the main hospital garage, as well and follow instructions to the main lobby.
If you are dropped off, please come in the front of the main hospital doors (not the emergency room).
UC Health has a very large lobby (and it's glimmering, shiny and always looks stellar) and that is where we will meet.
There is plenty of seating to the right of the double doors you walk in, and it will face their huge front desk. You are not to go to the lobby to the right of the front desk as that is closer to the main hospital and usually has patients. We will meet in the portion of the library closest to the desk and the elevators.
What happens at this event:
This is the Trauma 101 Event. It involves air care, emergency medicine, a talk with a trauma surgeon who also works with Doctors without Borders, and military emergency medicine. A big day!
