Mark your calendars for March 8th, from 1:00 PM to 5:30 PM, for a delicious and immersive experience in the heart of Caldas da Rainha, Portugal!
Start your afternoon with a mouthwatering lunch at Adega do Albertino, one of the best traditional Portuguese restaurants in the West serving specialty dishes like roasted lamb, grilled octopus (Polvo na Telha), pork ribs with wine, almonds, and honey and many other local fish and seafood dishes.
After lunch, your hosts Emma Ruiz - a local - and Ana Romero Monteiro (FoodiesLX founder) and will take you on a guided tour around the town.
Caldas da Rainha, is the cradle of one of the most traditional and characteristic ceramic styles in Portugal. Ana, a ceramic aficionado, will show you her favorite ceramic shops - including the Bordallo Pinheiro Factory Store and Outlet .
Afterwards, we will take a relaxing walk through D. Carlos I Park, ending with a cozy coffee break. Alternatively, people who are interested can visit the Ceramic Museum or the José Malhoa Museum.

Lunch - 1pm: Adega do Albertino, Caldas da Rainha
Local Tour - 3pm -5:30pm: After lunch we will hit the local ceramic shops, take a walk in the D. Carlos Park and enjoy a coffee break.
Menu: à la carte, pay what you eat/drink.

Emma Ruiz is a Holistic Transformational Mental Health expert and renowned Gestalt therapist. Emma believes the body and the mind are interdependent. For nearly a decade, she has taken her clients from overwhelm to alignment; anxiety to peace; from lost to connected; and from fear to joy.
She is the proud mother of Séan. She loves to dance, have meaningful connections and conversations with friends, enjoys reading, watching films, going for long walks, traveling and good food. A proud Lisbon native, Ana spent eight years living abroad between Prague, New York, and Geneva, experiences that deepened her appreciation for the universal power of food to connect people.
An international designer, now also a community builder, Ana channels her creative spirit into crafting memorable gatherings. She’s a proud mom to a vibrant 5-year-old, an avid ceramic collector, and blends her artistry and hospitality to create inviting spaces where stories are shared and friendships are formed.
