​🚀Join the UC Berkeley XRPL Hackathon Workshops and Opening Reception 🚀   

​🗓️ When: Fri March 14, 2025, 3:00pm - 8:00pm

​🌐 Where: In-person - Sutardja Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology (SCET) 

​👥 Who should attend:  All registered UC Berkeley XRPL Hackathon participants 

​This is a MANDATORY event if you are planning to participate in the UC Berkeley XRPL Hackathon, please register for the Workshops and Opening Reception on Friday, March 14, 2025.  

​Agenda:

​3:00 PM - 8:00 PM – Workshops and Opening Reception

• ​Introductions and Welcome – Hackathon organizers will review house rules (agenda, expectations, food, hackathon hours, location, campus directions, etc.).

• ​Workshop - A High-Level Introduction to XRPL, Features, and Applications – David Bchiri, XRPL Commons

• ​Workshop - Building on XRP Ledger - Marco Neri, Ripple Developer Relations

• ​Team Pitches – Teams with project ideas will give 1-minute pitches to recruit team members, including business, marketing, and engineering partners. Teams should ideally consist of 3-5 members

• ​Team Formation and Registration with Hackathon Mentors and Judges

• ​Project Assignments – Teams receive their projects

• ​Networking over Pizza Dinner – Participants return to their hotels/homes for the evening.
