AI is advancing rapidly, reshaping economies, governance, and society. Yet while technical experts dominate the conversation, we need more voices to help shape AI’s trajectory—ensuring it serves humanity.
This event celebrates the launch of the Existential Hope AI Futures Worldbuilding Course, an online program designed to equip social innovators and entrepreneurs with tools to navigate and shape AI’s trajectory. The course, a collaboration between Foresight Institute and Future of Life Institute, features leading thinkers in AI and governance, including Helen Toner (Director of Strategy at Georgetown’s Center for Security and Emerging Technology, ex OpenAI board member), Hannah Ritchie (Deputy Editor at Our World in Data), Glen Weyl (Political Economist, Microsoft Research & RadicalxChange), and Robert Lempert (RAND), among others.
Held alongside Skoll World Forum 2025, this launch event will bring together changemakers to explore AI’s impact on social innovation and global systems.
