LAUREL Media Lab [conversations]
LAUREL's media lab is a dedicated monthly meetup for comms leaders, creators, founders and journalists. Occurring every first Wednesday of the month, the event is part of a series that offers a low-pressure meetups intended to drive source diversity in news media and amplify the work of local news outlets.
This event is a great fit for:
journalists and reporters seeking new sources
editors and producers of news media outlets
comms leaders
content creators
founders and brand spokespersons
journalism and communications students
Each month, a beat is selected (think: tech, healthcare, nonprofit, etc) and the team at LAUREL curates a list of local news media professionals to attend as honored guests. Join us to learn more about the stories they're working on on and how you or your sources might help.
Once per quarter, we host a panel event featuring local experts discussing a communications-specific topic. RSVP for just coffee or join us for the conversation and a light lunch at SPNN (event space across from SK Coffee).
