Team Lilies Meetup: Caring for Your Truest, Deepest Self

​My precious Team Lilies, I’m so excited to offer you a (free) Team Lilies Meetup with my friend, spiritual teacher, and all-around BADASS ROLE MODEL, Sarah Hurwitz.

​You may have heard her name before because in her career, she served as senior speechwriter for President Barack Obama and as head speechwriter for First Lady Michelle Obama. Aside from writing some of my favorite speeches of all time, she also wrote a book on spirituality that I adore and that made Judaism much more accessible to me, Here All Along: Finding Meaning, Spirituality, and a Deeper Connection to Life – in Judaism (After Finally Choosing to Look There). Just in time for the High Holidays, we are going  to talk about cherishing, honoring, and caring for your truest, deepest self, and what that has to do with the Divine. 

​While we will be talking about this through a Jewish lens, you most def don’t have to be Jewish to attend, or to gain some wisdom from Sarah. We will also be answering any questions you have. I think it’s going to be a warm, soulful time.

​From 2009 to 2017, Sarah Hurwitz served as a White House speechwriter, first as a senior speechwriter for President Barack Obama and then as head speechwriter for First Lady Michelle Obama. Prior to serving in the Obama Administration, Sarah was chief speechwriter for Hillary Clinton on her 2008 presidential campaign. Sarah is a graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Law school, and she is the author of Here All Along: Finding Meaning, Spirituality, and a Deeper Connection to Life – in Judaism (After Finally Choosing to Look There).
