#11 Neighbourhood Labs : Introducing Citywrapper - A community access fund for exceptional cultural experiences

​​​At Phoenix Court we host regular community days where we bring together neighbouring organisations and close partners to workshop how we can collectively respond to live global topics, with a local lens - we call these events Neighbourhood Labs. On Tuesday 5th November 1400 - 1700 we plan to spend our #11 Neighbourhood Labs event talking more around Cultural Experiences.

​About the event: 

​Going to great cultural experiences is expensive and often feels inaccessible. While most cultural institutions look to offer tickets, passes, and experiences to local communities they often don’t have the right channels to provide them easily. Local organisations want to offer their communities opportunities to cultural experiences, but often don’t have budget or preferred access. 

​Citywrapper plans to provide both, aggregating opportunities from cultural partners across museums, theatre, music, and sport to build an inclusive calendar that local communities can access. Starting with relationships Phoenix Court Works has developed within the Somers Town, Camden, and New Square Mile communities, as well as ones with cultural institutions across Central London, by 2026 City Wrapper aims to provide a template other progressive neighbourhoods can implement.
