Social Oneness Day and Hackathon is the culminating event of Edge City's one-week series exploring bleeding-edge science and technology.
As the week closes, we train our focus on next-gen technologies reshaping our social fabric. With connectivity platforms proliferating, how do we evolve design and economics to empower users fairly? We'll confront ethical and technical complexities spawning from today's fractured social landscape where attention rarely links to reward 💡
What to Expect:
Social Oneness Day has two components going in parallel: Social Oneness Hackathon and Panel talks. Through discourse and hands-on building, we'll rally around common hopes while tackling imposing obstacles honestly.
1. Social Oneness Hackathon
A one-day immersive hackathon focusing on decentralized social innovations. Open to both technical and non-technical participants.
Themes & Technologies:
Explore decentralized networks and platforms like Farcaster Frames, Mask Network, Zupass (PCD.team), Next.id CyberConnect, Lens Protocol, Mastodon, Bluesky, Airstack, XMTP, etc
Identity & AI: Dive into zk-SNARKs, Proof of Personhood, reputation API by Karma3 Labs, Leverage AI tools for social applications
🍕 Free lunch for the first 80 participants. Did we mention, there will be fun activities to win free Breckenridge ski tickets and exclusive hackathon merchandise too?
💻 Hacks evaluated by leaders from Next.ID, Mask Network, Farcaster, Zupass, Karma3 Labs and more. Mentorship is provided by Zupass, Neynar, Mod, frames.js, Base Name Service and more.
