About Jac
In 2019, having left her corporate career for health and family reasons, Jac used her time to start painting again – her real passion. Needing to earn an income, she also had to think about how she could commercialise her hobby in a way that would not detract from her family life, with her daughter as her number one priority.
Jac is no stranger to career changes. She worked as a Chemistry teacher and school timetabler for 10 years, in England and the Cayman Islands.
She then joined AQA (an exam board) where she could apply her expertise in the classroom to exam design, people and process management.
Jac now works part-time at a local GP surgery, during school hours, and spends her remaining working hours maintaining her glassware painting sideline.
